David Gussak, Ph.D., ATR-BC., is professor and the Chairperson for The Florida State University Department of Art Education, and the Clinical Coordinator for its Graduate Art Therapy Program. Dave presents and has published extensively on various topics, but most significantly on art therapy within prisons, jails, and the court system.
He is currently co-editing the Wiley-Blackwell Handbook of Art Therapy with Dr. Marcia Rosal.He hopes that this 85-chapter volume will be available by late 2015.
He is also the author for the Psychology Today blog, Art on Trial: Confessions of a Serial Art Therapist.

After all this time, and as he points out repeatedly in many different arenas, he still loves what he does, and still can’t believe that he gets to get paid to do it.
